The School Lead for Simulation will take a strategic approach to embed high quality simulation within our provision, this will include:

  • Leadership of School projects and initiatives associated with simulation and on-campus practice education; including leadership of the design and development of an inter-professional simulation programme which is fully embedded in pre-registration education.
  • Strategic oversight of the development of on-site clinics which will offer student placements and a service to the community whilst generating enterprise income.  This will include working with the School Practice Quality Lead and clinical partners to establish referral pathways and appropriate governance.
  • Working with the School Lead for Enterprise to income generate from non-accredited CPD study days based on simulation activity.
  • Leadership of training in simulation practice for staff in the School to ensure high quality student experience in simulated environments.
