This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and collaborative academic to join a vibrant, dynamic and expanding research community. Working under the direction of Dr Loukia Tsaprouni, Director of our new Centre for Life and Sport Sciences (CLaSS), the postholder will work with academics, post graduate researchers and our network of partners and collaborators to support development of our new research growth areas.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic early career researcher with a good first degree and post-graduate experience in an area aligned to any of CLaSS’ research clusters and experience in quantitative research. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, be a confident and effective communicator and have some experience of project work and related activities such as bid writing and aspects of project delivery, co-ordination or support. They may already be registered on or willing to start a PhD which in either case will be supported by the faculty’s emerging researcher development package. The post-holder will make a contribution to teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as appropriate and be willing to undertake a programme of study leading to HE fellowship.
